Baptism is another word for christening. It's the first step of a journey with God and the church in the sight of parents, godparents, family and friends. You don't have to have been baptised yourself, and you don't have to have been a regular churchgoer.
In bringing your child to baptism, you will be making a decision to start your child on a lifelong journey of faith. Together with your godparents and their new church family you will make promises for this new journey.
We also welcome adults who want to be baptised. We always work with parents of children to be baptised or adult baptism candidates to prepare for the service.
Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like to discuss anything further. Either email or call one of our churchwardens, Kathy Day-Dawson or Piero Stallo, leave a message and one of them will get back to you.
